Created by Aitor Gabilondo, Muted follows Sergio (Arón Piper), a young man who inexplicably kills his parents by pushing them over the balcony of an apartment building. However, there is a lack of evidence as to what actually happened that day. From that day forward, Sergio stays mute, never saying a word about the incident — even after he’s sent to a juvenile detention facility.

Six years later, Sergio is released from the facility and allowed to return to the scene of the crime, where he’s monitored by a psychiatrist named Ana, who strives to find out what happened that fateful day. The six-episode thriller is full of twists and turns, but the ending is where the true head-scratching begins.

Based on a novel of the same name by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, La Reina del Sur is a Mexican crime drama about the rise of Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo), a young woman with humble beginnings who becomes a heavy hitter in drug trafficking. Teresa becomes the head of her organization, but with great power comes even bigger enemies, forcing her on the run.

The third season picks up with Teresa’s escape from prison and her attempt to reunite with her daughter, Sofía (Isabella Sierra). All 60 episodes of La Reina del Surseason 3 are now available to stream. The English remake, Queen of the South, can also be watched on Netflix.

Missing: Dead or Alive focuses on the mental aspect of the job and how these difficult cases impact the investigators on the job.
